Privacy and cookies
Notice under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Data Protection Authority's cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021. Last updated: October 2026.

2. Browsing data
The server hosting this site (Aruba S.p.A.) automatically records some technical data about visits, such as IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type. It is used only to run the site and keep it secure (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use it to identify visitors, and it is kept for the provider's technical retention period unless needed to investigate computer crime.
3. Data you send us
If you email us, message us on WhatsApp or call us, we use the data you share (name, number, message) only to reply and, if you ask, to set an item aside for you (legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not record it in any archive, list or database and never use it for advertising or newsletters: it stays only in the email or WhatsApp conversation, which we delete once it is no longer needed. The site has no contact forms, newsletter or login areas.
4. Who may process the data
Your data is never sold or shared with third parties. Only the technical providers we need may process it, as data processors: Aruba S.p.A. (website hosting, servers in Italy). If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, the service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. under its own privacy policy; data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies at all, neither technical nor profiling, and uses no analytics, advertising, social media or embedded maps. Fonts, images and the map are loaded from our own server with no calls to outside services, so no consent banner is needed. Links to Google Maps and WhatsApp lead to external sites, whose cookie policies apply only if you choose to open them.
6. Your rights
You may at any time ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format (Articles 15-22 GDPR) by writing to artigianatosirmione@gmail.com. We reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
7. Children
This site is not aimed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We may update this notice, for example if we add new services to the site. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
